Email your shopping basket
You may have noticed a new feature in our website shopping basket - a button that says "Email your basket".
We're hoping that many of you will find this button useful - and here's why.
Reason 1: You use more than one computer
Have you ever put everything into your website shopping basket in school or college, then tried to process the order at home on your home computer, only to find the products have disappeared?
This new button allows you to email the contents of your shopping basket to yourself. You can then click on a link in the email, and it will open up our website with all the same products in your shopping basket. You can do this from any computer anywhere in the world and process the order when and where you like. And you can hold onto this email for as long as you like - there's no hurry to process your order.
Reason 2: You need someone else to authorise your order
Do you need to get any spend signed off by your Bursar, Head of Department or Head Teacher?
Now you can put everything you want in your shopping basket, but then send it to your colleague. They can then click on a link in the email, and open up our website on their computer, but with all your products in the shopping basket. They can then review what's there, and reply with authorisation.
Reason 3: You need someone else to process the order
Do you need to ask your bursar, finance office or school secretary to process all your resource orders for you?
Simply put everything that you want in your shopping basket, but then email it to your colleague. They can then click on a link in the email, and open up our website on their computer, but with all your products in the shopping basket. They'll then be able to process the order online, quickly and easily. And you can both rest assured that the right products have been ordered and will be on their way to you soon.
