Keep your children reading over the holidays with FREE eBooks!

 

Everyone deserves a rest over the Christmas break but it’s also important for children to keep up with their reading practice. To help make reading fun over the holidays, we're providing FREE access for teachers, parents and children to a range of Bug Club eBooks and activities for the whole of December.

 Any school can take part in the Challenge. You don’t have to set up an account or even log in, and getting your children started is quick and easy.

We’ve selected 35 Bug Club eBooks for you to use, each including interactive activities. All the books have been selected to match the book band levels for the year group.  

 

To get started, simply let your parents know about the Challenge: 

Step 1:

Download the parent letter below that applies to your year group and pop it in your children’s book bags. Each year group letter has a web address which takes parents directly to the right books for their children.

Step 2:

Download the Bug Club Reading Challenge certificate below ready to print out and present to those children who have completed the challenge in January.
