Booktime sends out 1.4 Million free books!
Originally launched by Pearson in association with Booktrust in 2006, Booktime is a national free books programme for reception-aged children. This year, Booktime shipped free book packs to every child aged 4-5 years in England - that’s nearly 1.4 million books! Enjoying and sharing these books with friends and family will hopefully instil a life-long love of reading in all these children.

Children wake up to a Magic Breakfast
We all know that a child can’t learn if they’re hungry – but the shocking reality is that millions of young children in the UK are growing up in income poverty, and don’t always get the nutrition they need.
That’s why we’re proud to announce that Magic Breakfast is Pearson’s chosen charity for 2012 – helping to provide 6000 healthy breakfasts for children every morning.

Bug Club wins prestigious design award
Bug Club has enjoyed a really warm reception from teachers and children alike since its launch last year and the fantastic art design is always a firm favourite.
Luckily our designers' hard work has been rewarded with a prestigious accolade from the British Book Design and Production Awards for 'Best Use of Multimedia’.
