Learn at Home - Support for Parents and Carers

We’re sure you’re already aware of the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education. But just how much impact parents can have is staggering. One study (Sacker et al, 2002) found that schools make a 5% difference to the academic achievement of seven year olds, while parents make a huge 29% difference. By age eleven, the effects are starting to even out, but parents still make a 27% difference (with schools contributing 21%).

As well as this, we also understand that it can be daunting to know where to start to support your child’s learning, and that time is a major factor. So we created Learn at Home to give you that helping hand in understanding and supporting your child’s learning and development.
