Twitter|, the latest social networking phenomenon, is a popular micro-blogging site where members update their status in the form of short ‘tweets’.
Recently, the plots of great works of literature have been condensed into ‘tweets’ as reported in The Daily Telegraph|:

Think you can do better? This term we’re running a fun literature competition - with a twist! We’re challenging you (perhaps with the help of your class) to summarise a GCSE or A Level set text into a similar 140 character ‘tweet’! A great way to get your class thinking about their set texts in a whole new light!
The winning entry will receive a class set of 30 books from our set text portfolio| completely free.
The most creative entries will feature on our website throughout the term and the winner will be announced in September. Get tweeting today!
How do I enter?
Entry is quick and easy:

Search for SecondarySchool (all one word) and become one of our ‘followers’.
3. Post a message on your ownTwitter Profile with your set text ‘tweet’. Make sure you start your message with @SecondarySchool.
