Student and Task Reports
ActiveLearn includes a set of reporting tools to help teachers monitor students and track their progress.
The Task Report shows results for each task that has been set.
The Student Task Report shows task results for individual students (this may be useful for Parent evenings).
The Progress Report shows RAGG results (from tasks or self study) by level or grade for students. As the year progresses and students complete exercises, this can help for identifying the level a student is working at.

Good to know: What is RAGG Scoring?
Reports use a colour code and a score for exercise and task results. These colour codes are known as RAGG (red, amber, green, gold) scores.
-
Red: not many correct (0-33%).
-
Amber: quite a few correct, but still some work to do (34-70%).
-
Green: most or all answers correct (71-100%).
-
Gold: all answers correct (100%) without using hints or learning aids.
The Task Report
The Task Report provides an instant summary of any task you have set.
1. Overview
The report overview covers one group and task at a time. It provides a summary of scores for the students in that group who were assigned a particular task.
From this page, you can also leave feedback for the entire group, make a copy of the task, edit the task, and either export or print the report summary.

By default, the result column shows a student's overall score for the whole task. The Details button expands this summary to show scores for individual exercises within the task.

2. Review Results
The Review Results link on the overview page will show a more in-depth breakdown of an individual students' results, including details such as:
- How long the student took to do each activity;
- How many attempts they made;
- What hints and learning aids they used;
- Feedback between the student and teacher regarding the task.

Student Task Report
The student task report provides a summary of a student's performance across all of the tasks they have been set. This page also allows you to generate a feedback report for a task, export the report as an Excel-friendly CSV file, print the report, or review particular task results in depth.

Progress Report
The Progress Report provides a look at how all the students in a class or group are progressing in a particular subject. This data is drawn from student performance in tasks and on any exercises they complete independently.

The report shows each student's average scores and RAGG colours, divded into the appropriate categories based on how the exercises are organised for a given course.
Example 1
For
Exploring Science: Working Scientifically, exercises are organised into Developing, Securing, Exceeding, and Literacy, so the
Average Score section reflects this.
