Changing your ActiveLearn password
When logged into ActiveLearn, you can change your password from the Admin area.
The My Account section lets you check and change any details specific to your account, including your associated email address and password.

Forgotten your password?
If you forget your ActiveLearn password, there are a couple ways to get back into ActiveLearn.
The usual method for most teachers and students to reset their own password is by requesting a password reset email. If you have an email address attached to your account, this can be easily done using the Forgot your password? link on the login page.

Memorable questions
One easy way to make sure that you can access your account is by setting up memorable questions. Every student is asked to set up memorable questions when first logging into ActiveLearn. If you do not have an email address linked to your account, we recommend adding memorable questions so you can easily reset your password.

Memorable questions can be changed at any time from the My Account page in the Admin area.
Login attempts
- Sometimes you might simply make a mistake typing in your login details. If this happens, don't worry: you can have up to five attempts to log in.
- If for some reason you are unable to log in after five attempts, you will be locked out.
- If at this point you remember your login details, tick the 'I'm not a robot' option. The "Captcha" picture puzzle that appears will let you unlock your account and take you back to the login screen once more.

Did you know?
If you are a student and do not have memorable questions set or do not have an email address linked to your account, then your teacher will need to reset your password for you.
If you are a teacher, learn how to do this for your students.
To protect pupil privacy, Pearson will not normally change student account passwords.
