Tembi and Zeb plant rice seed to feed their village. Goose eats the seed, but gives the brothers her eggs. A tree branch smashes the eggs, but the tree promises them her cotton flowers. The elephant eats the flowers but promises the boys his tusks. The white ants eat the bridge and elephant loses his tusks in the river. So, the little ants promise to take mushroom seeds to the village to feed the hungry people.
