Long ago, bears had long tails. One winter’s day Bear is very hungry so he steals some fish from Fox. Fox finds out and tells Bear to catch his own fish by dipping his tail into the lake. Bear’s tail soon freezes. Today, bears have short tails and are never hungry in winter.
